These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to sharpen reading skills in an authentic way-through reading children's literature. It will also help them become lovers of reading by exposing them to a variety of children's literature so they can find what kinds of books interest them. It will also help my students expand their vocabulary which is a great need for my students. In addition, it will enable students to make connections across other subjects such as history and science while they read books of genres such as historical fiction and science fiction. The project would make a huge difference in my students' learning because it would develop lovers of reading, provide students with authentic ways to sharpen reading skills, help them to make connections across disciplines, and become more confident readers and leaders of our school and community.
