This year I would like to change the learning environment from desks to tables to encourage more cooperative learning and flexible grouping. Children will strengthen their social skills in these flexible groups and enjoy having more space to work. We have bright orange tables in school that I can use, but in order to do that, I need chair pockets and supply “stations” to hold what would have been in their desks. I recently leveled my classroom library for guided reading so I would also like to request book bins for easier choice of the appropriate books at their level.
