The use of these tablets will assist all children in the use of two specific programs that the students are monitored and evaluated as a formal assessment monthly! These two programs are I-station and Lexia. If the students do not do well, they are coded at-risk. These tablets will benefit all students making them want to improve their student scores simply by practicing and working to find solutions which will help them to become computer literate and technological savvy. This will give them the confidence to try harder and succeed in raising their score and get them out of being at-risk. They will become better prepared first graders.
