After teaching virtually for two weeks so far this year, it’s so disheartening to see students trying to focus in distracting and uncomfortable learning environments. We’ve been trying to have them create videos of themselves and everyone is frustrated that they have to keep repeating the process due to sound in their learning environment. Babies crying, siblings also in classes, adults having loud conversations. If our students could have the simple pleasure of headsets, their worlds could immediately calm. When the students return to the classroom, headsets will be critical to continue with these lessons.
