With all the materials I requested the students in my class will be better equipt to learn every day life skills. The students will also have more hands on experiences in the class with these materials that will allow them to have better comprehension and there for be more prepared for when they enter adulthood. For example the financial literacy books I requested will help the students get a real life feel for what they will encounter when they are in the real world. We will also be doing some sewing, we are going to be making quilts so the sewing machines and materials I requested will come in handy because I do not have enough machines right now. Another part of family consumer science is early child development so the baby care kit I requested will help the students get hands one experience with handling a baby. I will greatly appreciate any donations for my classroom, they will be throughly used and all student will benefit from them!
