Scholastic Action magazines in our intensive reading classes will provide engaging texts across genres, which will improve students' motivation to read. This resource provides a variety of materials including videos, leveled articles, text-to-speech audio and interactive quizzes to meet the needs of all students. Students will use these magazines to build their reading skills while working in cooperative literacy centers. Scholastic Action magazine will be a crucial reading intervention tool that will assist me in motivating and teaching struggling readers. It is important for struggling readers to feel motivated to read, and this magazine subscription provides them with the tools to do this!
