Through this project, I want my students to receive more books of interest to add to our small classroom library. My students are so curious and I want to show them they can learn so much through books. More books will help them to engage them and learn through the experience of reading for pleasure. The reading bean bag chair and padded seat are needed so they can really relax and associate reading with comfort and fun. As of now, our "reading corner" consists of a rug and a few stuffed animals. I want to re-vamp it for these kids as a reading oasis! I want this area to be irresistible for them!!
