Each year I struggle to buy the things my students need for the classroom. When students come into my room, I want it to be structured and organized. When students don't need to worry about the chaos of the classroom, it can help them to focus more on their school work. They will know where everything is and will be able to keep their own work organized. New book bins will be the icing on the cake. Right now we have cardboard boxes that are not holding up. They use these boxes everyday and will be able to put their most treasured books inside them. I am also asking for additional organizational items like a literature organizer, a storage cart, and storage baskets as well as binders, file folders, and glue sticks. All of the items in my cart center around organization and I am a firm believer that, that is where classroom management starts to have the best school year possible.
