I want my students to be able to read on the very first day they return to school. With a new, big bookshelf, the students will be able to see all of their options. Within each book is a way to escape from reality, which we all need at this time. I hope reading will help my students learn and grow as learners. Students can keep the books with their class supplies or bring them home to support literacy outside of school. Talking about what they’ve read will be a good way to improve their communication and social skills.

About my class
