Our students thrive in an environment that uses hands-on learning experiences. Providing the materials we need to start a greenhouse will provide our students with the opportunity for just that. All grade levels will be digging into all types of learning standards and getting their hands dirty while growing plants! Students will be "growing" their knowledge of life skills, while "growing" vegetables, herbs, flowers, Aloe Vera and other succulents. Students will be able to experience entrepreneurial-ism in marketing and selling plants to fund more hands-on projects, activities, and learning materials. We hope that our cafeteria will be able to use some of the herbs that are yielded from our greenhouse!
