"Understanding new math can be tricky, not to mention I'm at my kitchen table." Providing students with base ten blocks at home will give them tangible items to move and manipulate. They will help make these theoretical ideas feel more concrete for each student. The whiteboards will make them feel closer to me and give every student the opportunity to participate. Speaking in class/online is intimidating but writing can inspire the next Great American novelist. New skills maybe the HIGHLIGHT of my students experience. You contribution making learning during a historic pandemic feel more like the normal school da.
