All of the materials I have chosen, are things that will allow my students and I to create hands-on learning experiences in the classroom. Due to the variety of learners in my classroom, your typical textbook approach will not give the learning opportunities needed. The creation of a variety of activities, allow my students to take the route that is best for them. Items such as velcro and laminate pouches will be used to create File Folder Games, which allow students to work on targeted skills in a fun way. Construction paper and other art supplies will allow my students to utilize different hands on activities and create projects that will allow them to further their fine motor skills. Students will have the opportunity to create their own manipulates to be used in a variety of areas.
