My students with Autism have so many sensory needs. We need to find time in their day to let them jump, rock back and forth, and manipulate objects to get those sensory needs met. Having flexible seating options and sensory bins in the classroom can get some of those needs met. The wobble chairs and comfy floor cushions will help them with this. Having different seating options around the room at our different center areas (including a new sensory bin area) will help them get their needs met while engaging in center activities and learning. Students will also sit in wobble chairs during group activities and get their needs met while they're learning.
