Students will enjoy using the tablets throughout the day to help facilitate a mastery of their skills. They will be used in centers, collaborative groups, whole group, intervention, etc. Some of the activities will include: playing Kahoot, solving problems on IXL.com, making works on abcya.com, reading passages on readworks.org, among many other activities. Although students will not be allowed to take the tablets home, they trigger interactive learning on similar devices while at home. Tablets personalize the learning experience in a way that conventional teaching often can not. Students will be taught to appreciate and properly operate, store, and maintain the tablets.
