We need sorting rods, magnetic numbers and counters, number bots, Science Discovery kits and more. These materials will help create science and math centers that will encourage hands-on learning and exploration. We currently have math and science centers with minimal materials that do not motivate curiosity for my students. We have a new math and science center shelf that I would love to fill with exciting, new materials. New materials such as the "Can Do Science Kits" and "Number Bots" will help create intriguing environments that will encourage learning through play. Science and math are critical learning areas that will help students succeed as life long learners. If they achieve an appreciation of these subjects at a young age, it is something they will carry with them.
