These STEAM materials will help the students grow as a "whole child"! These students are known for doing well academically, performing well on tests...but i want to give them experience that will truly challenge them. These STEAM materials will help offer them the chance to take risks in coding ( science, technology) building( math, engineering), painting and sculpting ( art) to show their extensive research and collaborative projects- not just answering comprehension questions! They Will be able to explore different varieties of products to showcase their talents and talents they didn't know they possess! Giving the students these materials will give them an opportunity to take their learning style into their own hands to showcase their specific talents. The variety also allows for them to take risks which an important life skill. Challenging themselves to work in collaborative groups with materials that help develop their Science Technology Engendering Art and Math skills will help them be successful learners and leaders of our future!
