Allowing students to have a choice of where to work helps create an environment in which students can focus as well as take responsibility for their own learning. The students will utilize the seating during independent work times such as our math and science breakout stations. This also allows me to work with them one-on-one in a spot in which they are comfortable and confident. These tools will help to motivate the students and create a workspace that best meets their needs. The two wobble stools and the two wobble cushions work to get the students' core engaged. When their heads are up and their cores are engaged, they are receiving a steady supply of oxygen to the brain, which helps the students stay focused and motivated throughout the day.
