Your generous donation will help provide my classroom with the comfort that is needed. At this time we do not have an area in the classroom with a rug for my students to sit on. This project will provide a space for the students to gather on for whole group instruction, independent reading time and a flexible work area for all academics while adding comfort to their bottoms. With all of my students being on the spectrum, it is necessary that as their teacher, I provide them with all that they need. This classroom rug is needed for my students and as a first year teacher, I want to ensure that my students are siting on a clean, comfortable carpet and not on a cold, tiled floor. The classroom carpet provides an area for comfort, whole-group instruction and engaging in flexible seating for all to use and learn on. It is my job to ensure that my students are given the necessary tools as well as provide a welcoming environment for learning. I truly believe that when comfort is provided, learning flows right behind! Please help my students learn, by donating to this project and providing a classroom carpet for all of us to sit on and learn!
