Fluorescent lighting in classrooms can impact students in many different ways. They can cause glare off of papers, desks, boards, and technology. This glare and also flickering can cause headaches, eye strain, or anxiety in students. I want my classroom to have a calming effect on my students by reducing stressors. A physically serene classroom environment promotes a a feeling of safety and belonging within the classroom. When students feel comfortable in their surroundings, they will be more successful. This product helps to soften the harsh fluorescent lighting in order to create a more inviting environment. This product magnetically connects to the ceiling to cover the lighting structure without requiring alterations to the lighting structure.
