For this project, I am requesting quality literature that offers students a variety of genres and topics to choose from. In order to help my students develop lifelong reading habits, they need to be exposed to a variety of literature that interests them, engages them, and challenges them to think about the world we live in and their own contribution to it. "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies; the man who never reads lives only one." I am a first-year teacher and have worked hard to find books that my students will enjoy. A library is a living organism and I want to expand my humble one to one that my students will get full engagement and enjoyment from.
