My students are eager to learn this new craft of writing, which up until 3rd grade is mostly reading and comprehension. Now they will learn the foundations of how to grab the reader's attention, revise and edit, and publish their work. In order to do this effectively, they need supplies that their parents cannot always afford. Having red pencils to edit their own and peer work is essential as is a binder and plastic sleeves to keep their composition books at their fingertips. With your help, these 3rd graders will become our next authors!
