I want to provide my students with more book options--quality, well-written titles that are engaging and will grow their reading "muscles"! Our school has an elementary Battle of the Books team that encourages 4th and 5th grade students to read from a pre-selected list of titles to prepare for a team book trivia competition. My goal is to provide each 4th and 5th grade classroom with paperback copies of these titles to be kept in the classroom library. Although we keep copies of these books in the media center, they are in high demand and often unavailable. I want each 4/5 classroom to have additional copies of these books so more students can enjoy them.
