As adults, we often have the choice of what kind of seat would allow us to do our best work. For energetic 6 year olds, they often don't get that choice. Many schools require students to complete their learning at traditional desks and chairs. As a school that values student choice, I want to provide my students with different seating options. Each day, they will be able to select the seat that will allow them to do their best work, while staying focused and engaged. Seat choices will be in small groups or partnerships to encourage collaboration and student discourse!
