My students are in great need of new and engaging non-fiction texts. I am working to build my classroom library with a wide variety of texts and topics that will interest all students. I have chosen a variety of non-fiction texts that I know my students will enjoy during their independent reading time. These books and classroom library materials will be used on a daily basis by every student in my classroom. With these books, my classroom library will be a well-rounded resource for students of all reading levels and abilities. The colorful classroom book boxes will be filled with "good fit" books as each student practices their daily reading. My book selections in this project represent the reading interests of my student readers. Every book is one that has a highly anticipated reader waiting to read and learn from it.
