The library in my school is in need of some serious revitalization. I am wrapping up a summer-long project of completely re-organizing and re-arranging the entire library. Part of that is creating a reading nook area; this area will function as a place students can go to read quietly by themselves or in small groups. Having a dedicated space for reading makes literacy feel important-- and it is! We are showing kids reading is valuable by giving it a dedicated space, and that separation and dedication will in part come from using this requested multi-colored area rug. The carpet in this area is also damaged from years of foot traffic and needs to be covered to make it safe and clean. Creating a homey living room area will make kids comfortable, and I need sturdy furniture built to last like the Flex-Space Comfy Couch and Comfy Floor Seats so that they can really feel at home in that space without worrying about damaging it.
