My students are constantly moving and need to do so. These seats are an alternative to standard chairs. I've found that if you let them wiggle while they work they are more focused. Our school is limited in funds due to many low income families. These students need every advantage that I can muster. My guided learning stations will be so attractive and the kids will sit longer. I'm trying to set up different seating arrangements throughout the classroom. I'm planning on having bean bags, stools, wiggle seats and standard plastic chairs. This is called flexible seating and is new.
