These materials will help me to reach my students and their needs. I need to build my counseling library in order to help my students individually and as whole group. I picked books for my project that deal with issues these students face every day such as anger, dealing with anxiety, and even sexual abuse when we teach Erin's Law to the kids. I feel like by having these materials I can reach my students and help them to know it's going to be okay. I will use these books in small groups, during individual counseling, and with my guidance lessons to help with my lesson.
