Movement plays a huge role in learning and academic success in the classroom. The bookcases listed in my project will allow materials to have proper storage to enable accessibility to all students. Storage of materials, books, literacy and math manipulatives will be here. When students know where to get items they need, more time can be spent on task working. Who doesn't love a comfy work place?! Pillows and a lower working table will be the key to getting those little bodies and brains moving! Collaboration of students can take place with the lower table and comfortable working area. Kids love to work on the floor with each other. So why shouldn't they have the tools & furniture to properly do so? When Kindergarteners get to move and get the wiggles out, everyone is happier!
