STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) bins create an effective and engaging learning opportunity to students on all ability levels. STEM is a hands-on approach that allows students to explore and create while learning. Through STEM bins, students develop a love for learning and a passion to create and grow! STEM is not about just doing what you want. The bins include task cards to give open-ended directions which allows the students to create their own solution or designs. STEM Bins are designed to embrace student failure and allow students to change and adapt based on their leaning experiences. Seeing a child light up with excitement and pure joy because they get to create solutions with peers, using hands on activities is priceless! Students can collaborate with each other to expand their thinking, communicate with peers and build on their ideas. Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Communication are necessary skills and are all incorporated through learning with STEM activities. When given a choice to sit and complete a worksheet or build and explore, student will pick hands-on activities and learn through exploration! Help my kids grow and develop a love for learning through innovative and engaging STEM Bins!
