Sitting behind a classroom desk is a given in any classroom. For many students, especially those with special needs, it can be an almost impossible task to sit still and focus on a lesson. Each student is different and learns differently as well. That being said, students should be given a variety of options that work best for them to help them be successful in the classroom. This may be sitting at their desk, sitting on the floor on a cushion, standing at a table, using a bumpy seat or a wobble chair. I am looking for flexible seating to help my students be as successful as possible and focus their attention where it needs to be. I am hoping you will help me achieve this goal for a great group of students who truly deserve the best. The items that I'm hoping to receive will be used on a daily basis. The wobble chairs would be a fantastic addition during our reading group. This would give my students the movement they need, but still giving them the ability to focus on their text. The stand up desk would be a great asset for my students. It will allow them to stand during the day without being a distraction to their peers and still be able to concentrate on their work. Finally, the comfy floor seats will be loved by my students during independent reading time or reading with a partner.
