Flexible seating allows my students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work, they are able to choose a location in the classroom that works for them. However, their seating is currently limited to regular classroom chairs and/or the floor. My students are definitely more engaged in their work, and classroom disruptions and behavior issues are low when they are given a choice of where to work. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options. The products that I chose, will give my students more comfortable seating options. The wobble cushions will be great for my students that like to fidget when working. The balance balls will be great for my students because both sides of their brains are engaged in keeping their bodies centered on the balls which will lead to an increase in focus on the assignment. Finally, the Donut Ball will give another option for my students for comfy seating instead of the traditional hard classroom chairs. I hope by increasing my students' choices of seating, it will ultimately increase their love for learning even more.
