Students will have a place to meet as an entire group to learn. We will use the carpet to build community in our classroom every morning when we do our morning meeting. During our morning meetings, we discuss what is going on that day, go over the calendar, practice our letters, and work on our social skills. A classroom rug will be used as a big open area where students can spread out and do group work or individual work. The rug will be used daily and will be the most used object in our classroom. Because it is such a nice rug it will be used for many years to come and last for many classes.
