I teach 2nd graders in a primary school that serves students from grades K-4, the majority of whom are eligible for free and reduced lunch services. The school is committed to working with students, families, and their community to empower the primary students to pave the way for success in middle school, high school, and college. We also focus upon developing the emotional well-being of students, building not only academic skills, but also attending to the students as whole people. Many students come from the neighborhood where our school is located, while others come to the school from all over the city by bus.

About my class
