I want to provide an opportunity for all students to have quality reading materials, whiteboard, reading games and books to use during our literacy stations. Sight word games and magnetic letters are important for foundational learning. It is important to have decodable texts, charts and posters to maximize our phonemic awareness. Book storage will create a broader space for our students to gather in small groups and do games and utilize reference books with the instructor. The headphones will allow students to not be distracted by others or allow the environment to distract them while they are in the middle of learning a lesson. The erasers are for student use and leader use at our whiteboard station. These materials will bring fresh and exciting action for my students to grow in station learning. Young readers learn better in small groups!
