I have requested two iPad minis that I think will truly encourage my students to become independent readers. With these iPads, students will have access to audible books and regular books on their independent reading level. Moreover, I am also excited because these iPads will also allow me to download comprehension, phonics, and mathematics games that will allow students to work independently on their own. Lastly, I also think that the iPad will expose my students to technological skills that they are lacking. These are important skills to learn; and many of my students have not been exposed to technology at home.

About my class
