These books and games will help me teach, create and inspire a kindness community in our school. Working with these students to help them learn how to get through life with coping skills and taking care of their brains with mindfulness. Each month I go into each K-5 classroom to try to instill empathy, kindness, and mindfulness to all the students in the school. Teaching students these important skills is extremely important. Having stories such as "I can't do that, YET: Growth Mindset" to help them learn Growth Mindset. Or making learning coping skills fun with "Mad Dragon: An anger control game. There are to many young people who do not learn these skills at home anymore. School is more than reading and writing, school is where students are learning about to take care of themselves, be better people and how to overcome obstacles.
