These books will make a difference in my first grade classroom because they will provide me with the opportunity to set up a print rich environment. Starting a love for reading at a young age is very important and that’s exactly what I plan on doing with these books. These books will be used during literacy circles (small groups), morning work, and any other free time that the students would like to grab a book. I would like to have a large variety of books so that there are options for all of the different interests in my classroom. I cannot wait to set up my library and kick off a year full of reading!
