Not all students learn in the same way, but every student benefits from having a safe and welcoming classroom environment, along with good relationships with teachers and peers. In order to build those relationships, my classroom needs a rug for students to gather around during classroom meetings, read alouds, and share circles. Along with the rug, the students will use the flexible seating options such as the bean bags and wiggle cushions to stay focused and motivated during independent work. Students who take pride in their classroom also take pride in their work. Help me create a inviting and homey environment inside my classroom, so my learners can feel safe and focus on their growth!
