In place of paper and pencils, students love to use white boards to practice math. With the addition of these whiteboards and markers in my classroom, students will have the opportunity daily to complete math work and be able to show me immediately if they understand concepts. While working in teams during a review game, students can quickly help each other pinpoint errors and teach each other. Being able to quickly erase and start over or only erase a small error helps build their confidence. I’ve seen struggling students enjoy math when they have the opportunity to use a whiteboard vs paper and pencil.
