My name is Mrs. McMichael. I have the joy of teaching 6th-grade social studies. I love bringing the ancient world to life for my students through creative projects and engaging activities.
But I’ve also learned that my students sometimes need more than lessons on Mesopotamia or Rome. They may need a snack, shampoo, or even lunch. That’s why I created a Student Self-Care Station in my classroom—where kids can quietly take what they need, no questions asked. Over time, I’ve seen how valuable this space has become, with items like ramen, pads, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hair bands used often.
Your donation helps keep this station stocked and allows students to focus on learning instead of their basic needs. Your generosity not only provides supplies—it shows my students they are cared for, supported, and valued. Thank you for helping me build a classroom where every child feels safe and ready to learn.
