Flexible seating is all the rage in education today! Traditional seating is becoming obsolete, and I want to be progressive for my students! To begin this transition in my classroom, I want to begin with stools and counter seating instead of desks for some of my most distractible students. Imagine students not rocking in chairs but leaning forward into their work on a counter clear of obstacles of objects that are traditionally inside a desk taking their focus away from their assignments. Obtaining these stools will help my students' achievement to increase since they will be more focused on their learning.
