My students will use the requested materials to experience learning in a way that is meaningful to them. They will have the opportunity to use the items to work where they best learn throughout the classroom. Collaboration is the key to a great classroom. My students will use the clipboards to be able to work together away from the tables. They will be able to move freely to work with each other. Kindergarteners are not made to sit still at a table all day. They are made to move and wiggle. The materials that I have requested will allow this to happen daily in my classroom. My students will use the Samsung tablets to be able to listen to stories during their reading rotation time. Currently, we struggle getting a cd player to work for the students to be able to listen to stories. This is important to our students reading development because it allows students to hear how books are read.
