The ability to read proficiently is one of the necessary skills all students need in order to become successful academically. Students learn foundational reading skills and strategies in the primary grades. Having a variety of reading materials on various reading levels in the class is a necessary component in a successful classroom. By providing the students with daily access to the requested books, I support growth in reading by giving them opportunities to read engaging texts. This library will replace the classroom library I lost in a fire at my previous school. I long to share awesome books with my students in my class.
