I chose the wobble chairs to allow for flexible movement while students are working and learning. I believe it is important for students to be able to be themselves. I have seen first hand how beneficial wobble chairs can be to students who need them. Using bean bags allows for comfortable seating at our library so students have a positive comfortable association with reading and to have a place where students want to go to read. Students who have a positive association with reading may be more inclined to read, and therefore may lead to better understanding, decoding, comprehension, and deeper meaning making of the texts they read in any subject or discipline. Lastly, the magnetic sentence strips will enhance the ability for students to see and visualize what they are writing, and is a great scaffold to help build writing skills.
