I am a 6-8th grade special education teacher who supports Diverse Learners with a variety of disabilities, from learning disabilities to health impairments to Autism. Despite the challenges that many of my students face, they are incredible people. Their resiliency, love for learning, and curiosity drive my instruction. I strive to make my classroom a welcoming and safe community and to help my students explore learning and grow into independent and engaged global citizens through inquiry, social emotional learning, trauma-informed care, and culturally-responsive teaching.
