Flexible seating will enhance learning and creativity. By giving students a choice as to where they can sit when engaging in projects, we will allow them to enhance the skills needed to work together as a pair or in a small group. The carpet squares will allow students to sit in various areas of the classroom while working on projects. The rectangle carpet will allow the classroom to come together as a community for whole group instruction and our classroom meetings. By funding my project, my students will be able to sit in any area of the classroom comfortably which will allow me to circulate within the groups with ease.
