The materials I am requesting are vital to the success of my hard-working students. the Elephant and Piggie box set, as well as the Pigeon, set books by Mo Willems are the perfect addition to a class library that seriously lacks diversity in reading levels. Many of the books in my library are at a level beyond any of their skill sets which I feel impacts the view they have of themselves as learners. However, the books that I am requesting could serve as a catalyst to start building those skills and make them strong readers with higher comprehension abilities.
