Being in an inclusive classroom, the math games will allow me to reach as many students a possible in my classroom. Through games, I can engage more students and get them excited and actively involved in the learning in the classroom. Additionally, presenting grade level concepts in a fun way will give students more at bats with skills and allow them time to master the skills in a variety of ways. Working with students in small groups is beneficial for all students because they get more of the one to one attention they need to close achievement gaps. Rather than giving students that are working independently during small group time worksheets, the games and manipulatives will surprise up the learning experience and make independent work time something to look forward to, not something to dread.
