As we set out on an unpredictable school year, safety is a huge part of the planning for educators. My students love exploring instruments and creating their own music. How can we do this safely? How can everyone have their own instruments? How can we do this if the students are sent home to do virtual learning? With your help, each student will receive their own kit to use during music class. The supplies will be transformed into egg shakers, drum pads, and drum sticks. With these items, they can explore loud and quiet, keep a steady beat, and learn note values. Each kit will also have a set of crayons included. The students use them to practice and sharpen listening skills, as well as learning musical notation.
