Too many people talk about their experience in history classes as BORING. My goal is to make history exciting and create a love of learning about history for all of my students. Through the use of class laptops, my students will be able to create digital scrapbooks of the ancient lands we visit and learn about this year. Students will use teacher-created Canvas modules, virtual field trips and virtual trips to museums to experience ancient civilizations as realistically as possible. We will climb Mount Everest, travel the Silk Road, break down walls Assyrian style, sail the Nile in a felucca and even participate in the ancient Greek Olympics. To enhance these experiences, students will benefit from additional laptops that will be available on a daily basis.
